Earth Angels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit canine rescue and adoption
organization established five years ago to rescue homeless
and abandoned dogs from the New York City streets. 90% of
the dogs we rescue are from the South Bronx.
Earth
Angels was founded by Emelinda Narvaez, a New Yorker with a big heart, determined
to make a difference in the lives of the many mistreated dogs
she witnessed.
Driven
by compassion and a deep love for our four legged friends,
Emelinda has been rescuing dogs for over 41 years.
EARTH
ANGELS IS A NO-KILL RESCUE GROUP. Earth Angels welcomes animals
that others write off as too sick, too old, too ugly, or too
unmanageable . We spay/neuter, vaccinate, de-worm, and micro-chip
all our dogs as well as providing medical attention when needed.
We rehabilitate our dogs by using behavioral training and
giving them lots of love to restore their faith in human
beings.
To date,
we have rescued over 5,000 dogs and placed them in loving
and responsible homes. And, with your kind help, we will do
more.
